Dropbox! - A brilliant and transparent file synchronization, backup and versioning system. Right now you get 2GB of online storage free with a 50GB plan at $9.99 / month or $99.99 / year. This service has changed the way I backup and sync my files. I even wrote a lengthy blog post about Dropbox.
Sloppy - A very neat Java based program that is used to deliberately slow down your connection speed. This is great for web designers who would like to see what kinds of speeds a 56K or 128K etc. user would experience if they visited his / her page.
Highslide JS - One of the best JavaScript based content viewers for the web. It can be seen in action on this site in the image galleries and video viewer. It's free for personal use, and very affordable for use on a commercial project.
