Punishment – Version of Prometheus

Here’s a version of Prometheus: he is trapped in stone waves crashing beneath his feet, and instead of his liver being eaten, he has a gold medal stitched to his ribcage over his heart.

Every time Zeus’ wrath strikes a lightning bolt down to earth, it grounds itself on his medallion and kills him. Eventually, his heart resumes a rhythm and it happens once again.
