Cinema 4D has a few tricks available for tweaking rendering effects. One of them is the Compositing tag. It essentially allows us to tweak things like reflections, ambient occlusion, and shadows.

Great tuts Jamie your the best. Could your do a tut on how to composite through glass. Im having a problem seeing my back-plate through my car windows. I can see into my car but not through to my plate. Thanks

It sounds like you might just need to increase your ray depth value in the render settings.
