In this episode (it seems crazy that we’re at episode 40 already!) we will be looking at the actual painting of the armor plates. We’ll go for a worn and slightly damaged look; this should help reinforce the realism when we create some renderings.
The Razorback is a battle hardened-machine it’s also a machine that requires maintenance and having parts replaced (as referenced in the second book: Freedom™). This video focuses on the already UV-unwrapped side panels and shows us a bit of painting technique using some of the most basic tools in BodyPaint 3D.
